Netflix’s Kingdom Season 2 introduces Jun Ji-Hyun who plays the mistress of the zombies

The closing scenes of the final episode of Season 2 introduce actress Jun Ji-Hyun. Fans will have to wait until Season 3 to learn more about the new villain when Chang confronts her and her zombies.

Netflix’s Kingdom is a Korean fantasy horror drama based on Land of the Gods, a webcomic series by the Korean writer Kim Eun-hee. Artist Yang Kyung-il illustrates the comic series.

The series takes place in the Joseon era of Korean history. However, the historical setting is adapted in the Netflix series to tell a zombie-themed thriller story.

Writer Kim Eunhee also hinted at the possibility of “Kingdom Season 3” and predicted that if the production costs are available, they’ll be able to make a next season.
